Today's program takes you to the unique Horton Plains National Park, nestled among the highest mountains of the hill country. Situated over 2000m above sea level, the plateau of Horton Plains is home to a diverse range of endemic flora and fauna, including rare orchids, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, and numerous bird species (UNESCO). One of the park's main attractions is Baker's Waterfall. The most remarkable feature of the serene and mysterious world of the plains, however, is "World's End". Here, the plains come to an abrupt halt, leaving you suspended over a sheer drop of 880 meters . Afterward, a scenic drive will take us back to Nuwara Eliya. You can then enjoy and unwind in the evening at your hotel.

Buduruwagala, located 5 km from the main road to Tissamaharama, gets its name from the Sinhala meaning "rock with Buddha statue."
