Start your day with a drive to Dambulla to explore the UNESCO-listed Dambulla Cave Temple, dating back to 1 B.C. Next, visit the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a 5th-century marvel rising 200m high, featuring a fabled palace and ancient artwork. Marvel at the damsels depicted in frescoes over 1500 years old. Conclude your excursion by returning to your hotel, having experienced the rich history and breathtaking beauty of these cultural treasures in Sri Lanka.
