As you glide through the narrow channels of the mangrove forest, your guide will explain the vital role these trees play in maintaining the lagoon's ecosystem. Keep an eye out for various bird species perched among the branches and for signs of other wildlife.
The lagoon is home to over 200 species of birds and a variety of other wildlife. Your guide will help you spot and identify birds like the colorful kingfisher, the graceful heron, and the elusive egrets. You may also see water monitors sunning themselves on the banks, and if you’re lucky, spot a crocodile lurking in the water.
